About Disna Weerasinghe

Disna is a distinguished business immigration attorney adept at guiding small and large enterprises through the complexities of the U.S. immigration system to secure appropriate visa status for international employees. She provides thorough legal analyses and detailed, step-by-step guidance to achieve optimal outcomes. Disna has authored several articles on immigration law and conducted seminars for international students and virtual Continuing Legal Education (CLE) sessions on the PERM process for emerging practitioners.

Before practicing immigration law, Disna served as a judicial extern for the Late Honorable James R. Cavanaugh and as a staff member for the Late Honorable John T. Kelly in the Superior Court of Pennsylvania. She also worked at the Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts (AOPC) in Philadelphia. Disna is a graduate of Widener University School of Law in Delaware and Sri Lanka Law College in Hulftsdorp, Colombo. She is admitted to practice in the State of New York and is a current member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
